pillows are old and flat. Shower head is 4 feet of the ground, I am 6'. Location is great but that is all this hotel has going for it! Door to the room is paper thin, you can hear people running up and down the hallways at 3am. Horrible!!

Nice facilities. Needs to be rehabbed. Great location. Reason we will not go back is we stayed in a non-smoking room, but because the ventilation system is so poor, smoke from other rooms poured into ours. When we came home, everything we brought was saturated with cig. smoke smell. We had to change rooms 3 times.

While the location was wonderful for doing everything Abe Lincoln, the hotel was severely lacking...especially for the price! The staff was unfriendly! We called the desk for more pillows and instead of being transferred to housekeeping, we were rudely told to call housekeeping. In addition to the lack of pillows, the room smelled musty, hairs were found on surfaces, bathroom was poorly lit, the bed was low, stiff and uncomfortable, the coffee pot lid was broken, and the on-command movie reception was fuzzy with poor sound. If you stay here, you are paying for location, not service.
I have stayed at this hotel roughly 8 weeks out of the last year. In that time frame I have learned that a) if you ever leave anything at this hotel you will NEVER, EVER see it again, regardless of how important it may be b) You should always check ...
The Abraham Lincoln Hotel is conveniently located close to most points of interest. A small map can be obtained in the hotel lobby. The staff is very friendly, which I think is a big plus.
When travelling alone and or by amtrak, it is a good...

Horrible
Our first experience was with very rude staff at the front desk while checking in. Then we went upstairs to a dated, dirty room. They only had double beds - no queen beds - and the beds were very uncomfortable. Our toilet overflowed and no one...
Although the lobby of this hotel is attractive, the rooms are old, the bed was extremely bad, the room carpet was stained, ... the towels were nice and fluffy - that is the only good think I have to say about the rooms. I will only stay here when...

I was not happy with this hotel. I had done my research and read great reviews. Here are my problems with the hotel
1. The beds were very low to the ground, very hard, and uncomfortable
2. The air conditioner in our room did not work. It was not until our second night and 3rd call that the maintenance man told us that it was old, and you had to toggle the switch every so often to make it kick on.
3. The walls were paper thin. We could hear the maids talking in the morning, and the rooms next to and above us sounded like the occupants were in our room, especially with plumbing.
4. We had to take 3 different elevators to get to our hotel room from our car. (One in the parking lot, one that connected the parking lot to the hotel, and the hotel elevator that took us to our room.)
5. The staff did not seem exceptionally nice and were a bit judgmental. I am younger but travel occasionally for business. I felt like the staff viewed me as a teenager who was going to be up to trouble.
