Official Hotel Information
In 1893, The Pfister opened its doors and became one of the nations grandest hotels and a "palace for the people." The Pfister Hotel is a 307-room luxury landmark hotel in downtown Milwaukee, featuring 24-hour room service, concierge service, valet, and indoor pool and state-of-the-art fitness center, both with great views on the 23rd floor. Elegantly restored to its original splendor, The Pfister's lobby features a heavenly ceiling reminiscent of the hotel's original skylight and the word "Salve," The Pfister's way of greeting everyone with a warm welcome. The Lobby Lounge has been the place to see and be seen for over 100 years. Over 80 original oil and watercolor paintings grace The Pfister's grand hallways, lobby and restaurants. The Pfister has been honored with numerous awards, including the AAA Four-Diamond Award for the past 27 years, the "2003 World's Best Business Hotel Award" for Milwaukee by Travel & Leisure, and has been named to the Conde Nast Traveler "Gold List of the World's Best Places to Stay."
