It has a great location. The basic rooms are not desirable and it's worth the price to upgrade to a deluxe room or better. Its probably one of the best four hotels in New York City.

The staff made the difference. They were very kind and very helpful. They offer nice small touches like the newspaper in a tasteful bag hung outside your door rather than laying on the ground.
