The Peabody Orlando Hotel

I booked The Peabody Hotel for my daughter, granddaughter, and sister last August 2006. We loved watching the ducks in the lobby! The rooms, furnishings, linens and staff at this hotel are excellent. We had no complaints. The bathroom was large, well-lit with double sinks which was welcome because of all the women staying in the room! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who has discerning taste and doesn't want any unpleasant surprises at their hotel. The location is convenient for tourists on I-Drive, Orlando and we used it as an overnight after a trip to DisneyWorld.

The reservationist was incredibly nice, very helpful and able to answer all of my questions. The hotel was spotless and the room smelt and appeared very clean. My only complaint came in the fact that I would not personally classify the room that I stayed in as a deluxe double room, seeing as how I would not consider a desk and a chair to be an amenity in today's day and age. Also, the fee for wireless internet or internet access at the business center is too much.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: They took care of everything we needed. From luggage porting to bringing towels to us by the pool, everything was taken care of.

The hotel had a great pool and great service. I loved the ducks. The staff was great. The B-Liner is a nice diner. The hotel has a nice gym and workout area. There are tennis courts, too.

This hotel made me feel respected: The staff always asks how things are going and if there is anything they can do. The staff is very attentive.

It's close to the convention center. The staff is trained better than some Ritz and Four Season properties.
