The Paramount Resort Conference Center

This place is disgusting. How it is a 3 star hotel, I have no idea.

The furnishings are old, and broken for that matter. The place is dirty and dingy. The carpet is gross, like you don't want to take your shoes off. There are cigarette burns in the carpet, linens and window coverings. The counter in the bathroom is broken as is the bathroom door. The A/C makes a crazy noise you can't sleep through. It's a hike to your room from where you check in. It's a cheap place on priceline, 40 bucks a night, but I would rather stay at the motel 6.

Don't spend your money here, it isn't worth it.

My son went to UF and most my youngest is currently a junior at UF. I stay at the Paramount Plaza Hotel for their attentive, courteous and efficient service. The rooms are clean and the staff is simply friendly. The shuttles are handy for my local trips from the hotel to UF or Shands.

They have a friendly staff, and a great view of a nature preserve. They're very close to UF.
