We loved this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, and our room was very clean.
At first, it smelled too strongly of air freshener especially in the hallway, but they cut back quite a bit. It’s not good for people with allergies to strong scents.
The only negative would be that because it's so affordable there were a lot of tour buses and a lot of teens, we were there during spring break. This will contribute greatly to the wear and tear of the hotel.
There was plenty of hot water, good plumbing, nice decor, a fridge and microwave was a real bonus, comfortable beds/pillows, the TV worked well, but when you turn it on it's always on Disney advertising channel and it was way too loud!
Seating in dining area is limited, but my hubby would go get food/drinks and bring it back to our private/comfortable room. The laundry room was nice to have, they could use a chair in there and a sink. Despite all the kids in the hotel it was surprisingly very quiet! We were on 2nd floor away from elevators.
When traveling to the hotel, watch for speed bumps, they are not well identified. Don't forget to add $7.95 per day plus tax to your quote. We stayed for 14 nights and found it to be a great value, averaging about $63.00a night with tax. Oh, and don't count on free internet access in the lobby of the check-in building, it has no keyboard and it's for surfing the Lexington's website only. We found an internet cafe on 192.
It’s minutes away from Disney and Universal, what more could we ask for!
