I love this place, it is off the strip. The have a shuttle bus to take you to center strip. There rooms are of great value for the price, I found it very nice to stay in.

I am very likely to return to the The Orleans Hotel and Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

20 year old man with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

Just got back from our Vegas trip and since were arrived Jan 4 (a Saturday) I had to book one room off the strip, due to Saturday check-in restrictions. We decided to go with the Orleans.

We checked in around 11 pm and since it was late and they oversold rooms we were upgraded to a suite. Wow! What a great room. The living room had a sectional couch, bar and dining room and bathroom with a marble shower. The bedroom had a four poster bed, a huge master bath with glass block shower, toilet and Bidet, a hot tub, his and her sinks, TV and phone, a fireplace in front of the bed and to top it off, a full Strip view from four huge windows. We ate at the Courtyard Cafe which had great food even late at night for the price. We would not hesitate to recommend the Orleans.

I am very likely to return to the The Orleans Hotel and Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

36 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I just returned from a three night midweek stay at The Orleans.

The Hotel: Very nice rooms (for the price). Good security. Excellent service on checkin/checkout. Great maid service. Excellent liquor store with great prices. Business center lets you print boarding passes for your (Southwest) flight for $1. Pool was nice looking, but outside temperature was too cold to go for a swim.

The Casino: Due to the midweek visit, it wasn't that crowded in the day, but got busy at night. They have low limits $5 BJ/Craps and $1 roullette. They have a ton of video poker, but I couldn't locate any full pay jacks or better machines, but they have all the deuces wild, bonus, double bonus, etc. that someone could want. They also had a ton of $.05/$.10/$.25 machines as well as the $.25/$.50/$1 machines. I am not a slot player, so I don't have much to offer there. The cocktail waitresses were attentive and were always coming around - even through "cheaptown" ($.05/$.01 area).

The Food: I ate at the buffet for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was good with an omelette station. Dinner was "par for the course". Nothing special, but much variety and decent food. Noticed that they had graveyard specials in their cafe (something I love about Vegas), but never ate them due to still being full from the buffet.

All in all, the Orleans was a great surprise for me. I expected decent, but found Excellent.

I am very likely to return to the The Orleans Hotel and Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The Orleans is one of the few genuinely kid-friendly hotel/casinos on or near the strip. It has a bowling alley, multiplex theater, and arcade game room. Also, there is a kid's club where you can leave your child if you want to sneak off to the casino floor for a little while. Our 7 year old loved it, and would have been happy staying there all day! The buffet is good, service is friendly, and there are tables for cheapskates like me who only like to play $2 hands.

I have stayed at the MGM and the Aladdin, and find the rooms at the Orleans to be comparable (comparing standard rooms at each location) despite the Orleans' lower room rate. While it is slightly off the strip (within walking distance if you're relatively athletic), I understand there is a shuttle to the strip, although I never used it. When I bring my family with me to Vegas, I won't stay anywhere else.

I am very likely to return to the The Orleans Hotel and Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

We had a nice stay at the Orleans. The rooms were spacious and clean; the staff was helpful and friendly, and the Orleans has some of the best food in Las Vegas that won't cost you a fortune. It's a great place for families and groups to experience Las Vegas without the hustle and bustle of the Strip. Be aware that the Orleans is located a short distance away from the Strip. There is a free shuttle that runs to the Gold Coast and Barbary Coast on the Strip, but do not rely on it. It runs on an erratic schedule and there are never as many shuttles as promised. You'd be better off renting a car and driving to one of the casinos there.

I am somewhat likely to return to the The Orleans Hotel and Casino.
I might recommend it to friends.

For our purposes, the location was GREAT. Not being directly on the strip has many advantages. The casino was huge compared to some others. It seemed like you couldn't smell any tobacco smoke in the casino AT ALL. Believe me...I have horrible allergies. The food was great, and the people were extremely helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I was very impressed with the bed...you just sink into it...haven't slept like that in a while!! They offer a shuttle service (for free) to and from the strip. This is the best place! Everything you could ever want under one roof!

I am very likely to return to the The Orleans Hotel and Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This is a great, 'undiscovered' hotel. Comfortable, large and quiet (in the new towers) rooms. Great prices. Good food and entertainment, away from the 'strip' to avoid crowds. I became a regular customer after my first stay.

This hotel made me feel content: Great, comfortable room on the highest floor available for a non-suite room.

My experience was memorable and the price was reasonable because it was an upgrade. I would like to stay in a suite again if could afford it.

I thought the gambling table operators were very friendly, and had an enjoyable time gaming there. The buffet was very good. A couple of the restaurants on the ground floor had a rather long wait time compared to what expected; they seemed understaffed.
