The Orleans hotel was great. The rooms were clean and it was quiet. The rooms were also spacious.

This hotel made me feel secure: The staff was capable and friendly. They did not rush at check in.

We had a family of 14 women and girls stay at the Orleans. We thought it was great. The restaurant choices were fabulous, the casino had everything we needed and the girls enjoyed the arcade upstairs. The shuttle drop-off was right across the street from the monorail which was super convenient.

Lastly, the rooms were clean and very spacious. Oh yeah, room service on our last morning just topped off a great weekend.

Thanks.

I was expecting a lot less due to the price I paid for the room, but everything was great. We arrived VERY early in the AM (8:00) and asked if we could just leave our bags until 3pm check in time. They actually set us up with our room right then and there! It was a great treat, especially after the red eye. The room was clean and good, just what I needed, but not luxurious by any means. I was only disappointed in the pool, as I like to swim and not wade in 3ft water. But the casino, food and staff were very friendly and helpful. Finally, the strip shuttle is the best idea they ever had! Free shuttle to the strip all the time and the longest I waited was probably about 15 min. Big cash saver! I would definitely recommend if you want to save some cash and don't mind not being directly on the strip

Be careful!!!Large, clean room. I have stayed at the Orleans in the past. I have always found it to be a nice clean hotel. The casino is huge and has good payouts. On my last visit in July of 2006, the maid stole $200 from my room. I had the money hidden inside of 3 different bags (one inside the other). The maid had opened my luggage bag, then opened the inside of another bag I had in the luggage and then inside a small clutch bag to steal the money!! She didn't steal all of the money I had (I guess she figured I wouldn't notice "only" $200 missing). I immediately called security since she was still on the floor and when they came up they said they could not do anything to her!! Had I known that they were not even going to check her or question her, I would have done it myself - and I wouldn't have been nice about it!! I also report the theft to the Las Vegas police as well as the Head of Security at the hotel. The response was we're sorry and that was it!! They did tell me that they were going to be getting room safes in 2007 but they did nothing other then apologize. They ran a room key check and the only person who was in my room was the maid and myself (I was staying alone). So be careful if you stay at the hotel and do not leave ANYTHING of value in the room, no matter how well you think you have hidden it.

I am somewhat likely to return to the The Orleans Hotel and Casino.
I might recommend it to friends.

Large, clean room. We stayed here October 2006, and we've stayed twice before that. The rooms have been recently remodeled and are bright and clean. The large rooms have a sitting area with a loveseat, chair, and coffee table. The bathrooms are very large with a window that opens. At checkin you are given a coupon book with good deals on the restaurants and drink coupons. The pool is open from 10 AM to 6 PM and is nicely landscaped. The hotel has a free shuttle that takes you to the strip, and there were several shuttles running. We never waited longer than 5 minutes for a shuttle.

I am very likely to return to the The Orleans Hotel and Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The Orleans hotel is easily accessible with plenty of parking, theme oriented decor and the restaurants have quality food for a reasonable price. There are all types of restaurants from fast food to elegant. It has activities for children and parents, like bowling and a movie theater. It is reasonably priced.

This hotel made me feel secure: The Orleans hotel is in an area one mile off the Strip in a better part of town. The security personnel is always present on site.

I am very likely to return to the The Orleans Hotel and Casino.

I have stayed at the Orleans hotel a few times now and it has been very enjoyable every time. The people are great and the place is clean. My son likes it, too. They make him feel like an adult, not a child.

It is in a good location. The Orleans hotel was comfortable and a good place to stay. We had a problem with a sink and a toilet back up that did not get taken care of by the facilities department.

The hotel is off the Strip, it has comfortable beds, it is great value and it has excellent restaurants. It also has a friendly staff and excellent gaming.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The Orleans hotel staff greeted me when I pulled in. The front desk staff was friendly, but not familiar. They used my name appropriately, while phone calls rang five times, they greeted me by name when they answered. A few minor maintenance problems were efficiently handled.

I am very likely to return to the The Orleans Hotel and Casino.

If you're after a budget trip but don't want to sacrifice your peace of mind, I can recommend The Orleans. The hotel is off-strip but offers ample self-parking as well as valet & a shuttle to the strip. The valet service wasn't 5-star but it's not that kind of hotel. Self-parking was very simple, if you were willing to forgo the covered parkade.

The Orleans is an older hotel that has seen some serious use. My 20th floor room did not include a safe, though I hear other rooms in the hotel do have them. The room was reasonably clean with only some paper trash left under the bed-skirt from a previous guest. There was a small hole in the bed-covers but not enough for me to complain about. The insulation on the rooms is not that great, and I could hear other guests intermittently.

I enjoyed the view of the Luxor hotel from the window in my shower. However, the shower itself had poor water-pressure. If you don't mind a little side-trip go to the spa for a shower experience that will far surpass the one in your room.

The Market buffet for breakfast was extremely good value. I would recommend going else-where for supper unless you like pizza and ribs.

Overall the hotel is a simple, no frills, budget destination. It's a good place to park for the night but I wouldn't recommend this for someone who wants a LUXURY outing. If you want to save some cash these older motel-style rooms will fit the bill nicely.

Ok, I must admit I was a little skepticale at first about this hotel since I have been to Las Vegas three times and preferably stayed at the South Pointe Hotel & Casino. I decided to give the Orleans a chance. The hotel itself needs a little updating! The plumbing is terribile! Our room had a awful smell b/c of the sink over flowing, but when we reported this the hotel took immediate action to correct the problem and also gave us free meals to the TGI Friday's located in the lobby. The hotel indeed has it all. You don't even need to leave the grounds for anything, I really enjoyed the restaurants and the movie theater they had located upstairs. The hotel is a bit away from the strip but the complementary shuttle to the strip is far most the best b/c it run's up until midnight, the staff were very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a great deal at a reasonable price the Orleans is the place to be
