For those of you who have stayed at the Litchfield Inn before, it has changed for the better. Many owners have updated their rooms and 253 and 354 in the Lodge are "Luxury Suites." They have been completely renovated. No mold smells and clean as a pin. The Litchfield Inn has two pools, 3 restaurants and boasts the only oceanfront restaurant and bar in Pawleys Island. The hotel is under new management and the restaurants "Cabana" "Ocean One" and "Periwinkles" are owned and operated by local respected restaurant professionals. The service and the food is excellent. One of the locals favorite dishes is the "Bronzed Grouper." Folks, I suggest you try the Litchfield Inn. And for those who have stayed here before, let me say, this is NOT the Litchfield Inn of old. Oh, and, this hotel is oceanfront!
