This Hotel was a wonderful find. The staff were very curtious and helpful. The location IS within walking distance of the Historic downtown, the US Naval Academy and the Waterfront. We walked there for dinner each night and felt safe doing so. ...
Carpets dirty, bedspreads dirty. Asked housekeeping to change bedspreads, but they didn't.Bathroom vent falling out, wallpaper peeling, baseboards in poor repair. Smelled smoky.Towels very old and thin, as well as stained.

Hotel was great, really nice rooms with rich fabrics, staff really friendly and helpful and very clean. Close to downtown and they also have a free shuttle! We love Annapolis and go often and would definately go back to this hotel. Parking is the cheapest we have ever found and because we are AAA we got free breakfast basket!

Mediocre
Hotel not convienient to downtown as they claim. Do not make the walk in the heat. I had many little complaints and the staff offered no compensation. They were not generous. No nearby amenities. I couldn't find a place to get my hair or nails done...

We spent three nights at the O'Callaghan and had one of the worst experiences ever. I am a flight attendant and have stayed in hotels around the world. This has to be one of the worst.
Not only is it very expensive; the towels had holes in them, the light was out in the bathroom, there were stains on the carpet and the maid never bothered to put the spread back on the bed after it was made up.
We paid $250 per night and got totally ripped off. If you stay there, make sure you check your bill. I was charged for a movie that we did not watch and it took four days of numerous phone calls to straighten it out.
