We booked our vacation a month in advance, and had to stand in line 45 minutes to check in only to be told the staff member was new. Who cares at the rate of $300.00 a night? No map was given to us to direct us to our room, we wandered around then got a staff member to lead us there. Then it took 30 minutes to receive our luggage to our room, we had to call them three times. In our room we discovered that it was filthy (the tub and counters). When we used the blow dryer, all of the electricity went off, and we stumbled around to find the reset button. We inquired about why there was no coffee maker in the room to be told it was a fire hazard. The buffet was $25.00 a person, and there was hair in the food.
Upon check-out we called downstairs to see what the arrangements for assistance with our luggage only be to be told that "We don't do that." So we lugged our heavy suitcases (two women traveling alone) all the way to the bell station, where we were treated very rudely. This man actually got in my daughter's face to taunt her when she complained of a sore arm from carrying the luggage. Well, we asked to speak with the manager (and waited another 15 minutes) who was gracious enough to provide us with a car ride to the airport and discount our bill. Never go here! They act like you are doing them a favor. Also, the wait staff in the casino is non-existent so don't count on being served except for every two hours or so.
When we returned home we attempted to contact the corporate officer, only to be told he doesn't take calls of this sort, and another man called and offered his condolences.
Please do not stay here, you would receive better accommodations at a Holiday Inn. We will be staying at the Venetian or South Coast in the future where both hotels' class is truly class and the staff treats you like an honored guest.
