The Michelangelo Hotel

Boy, it's tough to get a hotel in NYC. The Michelangelo is fine, their food is OK, and the rooms are not bad. The gym is a small converted room, but they have a deal with a good gym across the street for $15 a visit. I can't say it was a great value for $525 a night, but my choices were limited.

The location was perfect. Only a five minute walk to Times Square and the theatre area. The hotel staff was very accommodating. The rooms were immaculate and good-sized. The bathrooms had large tub and were spotless.

This hotel made me feel content: It had a very quiet atmosphere, soothing. There was no outside noise.

It was a nice, elegant, older style businessmen's' hotel. It had no pool. The restaurant was closed for remodeling. Breakfast was included. The breakfast hours were long, especially nice if you like to sleep in. The room was quiet.

This hotel made me feel content: The door and bell staff were always around and stored our luggage safely after and before check out. We were a group and the lobby was spacious and allowed for comfortable conversation with friends who visited us.
