It's in a very serene and beautiful location, with a view of a lake and mountains.
The staff was helpful, polite, and friendly with our large number of questions and requests. Our room was wonderfully decorated, clean and had the most amazing view, we can't wait to see everything when it is green!
We had high expectations because we were paying a good amount for our stay, but I do have to say our expectations were exceeded. There were a lot of details that made our stay special, the quality of the amenities, heavenly robes and bath products were great.
Delightful details like hot apple cider for a refreshment in the living room, turndown service in the evening with chocolate chip cookies, my husband's birthday celebration headlined our dinner menus.
One of our favorite things was to sit near the fireplace in the living room area, reading and enjoy the afternoon tea and treats. I can't wait to go back, already contemplating when we can getaway from our busy schedule (very soon, I hope).
We went in the winter so the regular activities were not available like the outside pool, tennis court and the beach on the lake that is down the hill and across the road (no they are not on Golden Pond, but they do have access and they have canoes for us to use in the summer when we return).
There is a Spa, computer room and the Three Cocks Pub is a must see with its copper top tables.
