The service is spectacular. The redecorated rooms are wonderful. The restaurant is really good. But best of all, the staff, many of whom we've known for years are helpful, friendly, and really know their "business."

The staff was attentive, kind, and provided excellent service. The room was adequate; nothing fancy, but clean. I would advise requesting a corner room for the space, the other rooms are somewhat small.

I am very likely to return to the The Lucerne.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

70 year old woman with a luxury budget, traveling for business

It has an excellent location. The rooms have gotten too expensive over the years. It has a nice mix of visitors. They have very helpful front desk and doormen service. It is hard to get reservations.

This hotel made me feel extravagent: I stayed in the Queens Suite, it was lovely.

I am very likely to return to the The Lucerne.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

We try to stay in different places each time we go home and we were given a good review of the Lucerne. It was a bit small for us and gave off a definite European vibe. We ended up upgrading to a suite, which made the stay much better. There is nothing particularly fabulous about the hotel. It's a typical New York hotel, however, I wouldn't stay here again only because there are better places that we could stay in the city. The service is very good, though. So if you do stay here, you'll be well taken care of. Try to get a room that overlooks the courtyard.

I am not likely to return to the The Lucerne.
I might recommend it to friends.

It was a quiet, neat, conveniently located small hotel -- with a nice coffee shop.

I am very likely to return to the The Lucerne.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
