The hotel itself was gorgeous. I have no complaints about that. But I suppose that when they see a young couple, that they think there's going to be problems. I really don't like that considering that we both grew up in an affluent town and my home is better furnished than the hotel.
Everyone was very nice, but standoffish. You could feel the tension and I could have really done without it. It was a trip home for the holidays and I wanted to be happy. We ended up spending less time at the hotel than we would have liked and didn't invite anyone to come visit us there because we didn't want any problems. It’s not a way to spend our money or our holidays.
