Excellent
I do not normally write reviews, but I just wanted to say that we REALLY enjoyed our stay; everything was just perfect - they have a great hotel. We live in SF and decided to get away for the weekend and they made us feel like royalty. We checked...

I appreciated the fact that they gave me exactly what I asked for and they accurately described the facilities and room before I made the reservations. Many hotels do not provide clear or complete information about their accommodations.
They were available and polite when I needed information.
I am very likely
to return to the The Lodge at Sonoma Renaissance Resort & Spa.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Mediocre
Room was not ready until after 4:00. Rooms neet refresh of paint and carpet, shower need remodel. Staff needs total retraining. Beds are comfortable and pool is clean and warm. Restaurant closes way too early. The lobby bar closed although 100...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend and were pleasantly surprised. We found a pretty decent deal and when we checked in he told them we were there for a special occasion and they upgraded us to the presidential suite! It was very nice and spacious. We had a nice view of the pool and grounds. They also included a complimentary bottle of champagne and olive oil. I made an appointment for an olive oil massage at their spa. It was probably the best massage I have received in quite some time. Everyone was very friendly. I had a nice steam after the massage too and didn't feel rushed at all.
The room was clean and the bathroom had some quality toiletries which I always like. They even had bath salts which was a nice touch.
It wasn't far from Sonoma Square where all the shops and restaurants are either. We ate one night at their restaurant and it was so-so. The service was kind of slow and the food was a bit on the salty side. It didn't ruin the weekend though I just would have rather spent the money at a much better restaurant in Sonoma. I would stay there again.
