My family and I stayed at The Lodge at Sierra Blanca for a long overdue vacation. We stayed for 5 nights and 6 days and had a great time. This resort was excellent from the staff, to the accomodations, to the daily hot breakfast! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. My husband and older son had a great time on the golf course located just next door to the resort and found the rates affordable. The hot breakfast served daily was absolutely outstanding! It was fresh and hot and my family is pretty picky, yet everyone was pleased (which is a rare thing for our family!) The staff was very attentive and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best it could be. The shopping in Ruidoso was fun and different and only a couple miles from the resort, which was convenient. In this economy, it is hard to find a place to take the family for a vacation without breaking the bank, but The Lodge at Sierra Blanca was very affordable. It was nicely decorated and we really felt comfortable there. Overall, I thought this resort was fantastic in all facets! 5 Stars! We will definitely be recommending this hotel to our friends and family.

Okay
Our "king studio" consisted of a hide-a-bed that pulled down from the wall. The evening we checked in we found trash still in our room. The room was never cleaned thoroughly. The saying, " You get what you pay for," certainly went with my...

We were given a smoking room with terrible smell after requesting a non-smoking room. The desk clerk had given our room to another person at check-in with the same name but from a different city.

to return to the The Lodge at Sierra Blanca.
I would not recommend it to friends.
