Hi,
My husband and I won this "free trip" to stay here, we still paid a few hundred $, but we thought what the heck. But, Not only is there NO air cond, we were stuck in this tiny "condo". It had NO windows, only one sliding glass door and screen. The outdoor carpeting was all ripped and torn, the wood under it was starting to rot, tiles in the bathroom sink area were missing, the lights in the bathroom area were filthy with webs on them, there was mold on the shower walls, and the staff were very UN helpful. I guess because we did not "buy into the timeshare", we were still aloud to have the free trip, which, by the way was not free. I dont understand how any place in NV or any other warm area, cannot have air cond? I have breathing problems, and I have no choice but to sleep with cold air on. But there was NO air, in the filthy room. Not even a window to open to get the smell out. Nothing. The only time we got a breeze was when we opened our door to the smelly hallway. Now, the view was nice, and it was pretty quiet, but I would NEVER stay there agian, free or not. There was a constant smell of urine in the hallways and elevater. But they seemed to try to mask it with some kind of lemon scent. My sinuses were killing me, because they were nice enough to give you two big fans ......wow. Pushing hot air around does not help. There are not even ceiling fans! No air circulation at all..the bedroom was a tiny hole....no windows, nothing. So we had to sleep on the couch. there was a lot of nasty things in this place, also, a few bugs, not sure what kind, but they came up from the sink in the bathroom area. Speaking of bathrooms, maybe they could make is a little BIGGER?? I stay in Many places.....but this was the saddest place. There is NO room for two people let along 4... They should have a actual stove, not this microwave combo thing......it was hard to work, and our food came out lousy. The outdoor grills, I wouldnt use...they were filthy, and they would just use the grill brush and hang it back up ........not even wash it. I seen this a few times........I was there for a week. Hoses were duct taped up.......looked really tacky.......Some of the landscaping was nice.....but then.........other parts looks horrible. Not kept up at all. I do NOT recommend this place for anyone. Unless it is your hated enemy. Between the smell, no central air, and dirty room, you can keep it. I would rather stay at the quality inn.......we stayed there one nite....it was clean, central air........and no smell!!!!! thanks
The Lodge is a great place for families. It offers everything my family of 4 wanted and needed. We had the convience of an apartment with the local eateries within walking distance. If everyone wanted something different for dinner it was available....
The room looked better than I thought it would. The grounds were nice, rooms clean and spacious. The full size Kitchen was well equiped. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.
