The Lodge at Koele is set in the mountainous region of the island of Lanai, Hawaii. This is the island where Bill Gates was married. It is private and secluded. The Lodge is a replica of an old Hawaiian hunting lodge done with great elegance. Guests are met at their car by the valet, greeted by name and offered a welcome lei of beautiful, fresh and fragrant plumeria, then escorted into the grand foyer of the lodge. Fresh juice and a hot towel are then presented to each guest. The check in process is very fast and one is offered a tour of the hotel, then escorted to one's room.

The grounds are immaculately groomed and just lovely, with absolutely gorgeous tropical flowers everywhere. One of the best things to do at the lodge is to take a tour of the back nine of the golf course. You will see breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys of Lanai, plus a look across the Pacific Ocean to Maui.
