40 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Giant mistake. The resort appeared to be largely inhabited by unchaperoned spring breakers. The noise after midnight was out-of-hand; slamming doors, running/yelling down the corridors, partying in the room next door. It didn't help the walls were thin and any above average conversation was clear. This is not a place for families or anyone not on the prowl after midnight. The management could not/would not/did not control the problem the first night, and we were required to move at our inconvenience in order to rectify the problem...their problem. This experience puts an overriding negative on our impression of the facility. The Lexington is otherwise a reputable place at other locations, but this location may be under pressure to fill beds at any cost. In general, be sure to verify your hotel choice's policy on spring break traffic.
