The Lake House is a restored 1930's Fishing and Hunting Lodge, tucked away on Big Lake Henderson.
Our five guest rooms each with a private bathroom and television have been individually decorated. They can accommodate anyone from couples looking for a romantic weekend away, families searching for adventure or just an opportunity to relax and unwind.
The Lake House is located just outside Historic Downtown Inverness and only minutes away from the Withlacoochee State Trail, for those of you that enjoy biking. Inverness is surrounded by numerous lakes that are perfect for fishing, boating and water-skiing. The area also boasts many superb golf courses and the World Famous Manatees.
The Lake House is situated on one and a half acres and offers on-site parking.
An full breakfast featuring homemade breads, fresh fruit and a breakfast entree is served daily between 8 AM and 10 AM. Eat inside or out on the patio, the choice is yours!
Guests are always welcome to share a cup of tea or glass of wine.

59 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
The rooms were clean and the atmosphere was very appealing with old and antique furniture. The food was plentiful, fresh and delicious. The owner, was friendly, kind, and very accommodating. On a cold night, she served wine and conversation in front of a warm and cozy fire.
