This hotel is good if you are looking to splurge a bit. It is on the outskirts of the city which makes away from the action, but at the same time its quiet and away from mischief. It's connected to a country club and they have dolphins at the hotels.
The rooms definitely show the price well. However, I'm more of a facilities person. It’s right along the beach so you can choose between the beach and the pool. Also, it’s secluded so the beach only has hotel guests. I was particularly fond of the smoothies. The buffet is amazing and I loved the Chinese chicken salad.
Also, they have a huge wall covered in the photos of every famous person who has ever stayed at the hotel and there are probably 200+ signed photos. The shopping in the hotel isn't that extensive, but Kahala mall is fairly nice, but a little low end in comparison to the hotel. Most people go to this hotel because it is a luxury with a nice secluded aspect to it.
