I stayed at the Kahala Resort in April 2007 and I thought it was perfect! I got married at the Resort and had no problems at all. The rooms are gorgous. The service was great. They treat you like a celebrity there. My friends and family that attended which was over 30 guest all agreed. The food was great! I had no complains. The beach is private theres never anyone on it which was so nice not like waikiki where theres so much people. I will always come back to The Kahala theres no other place like it. It's worth every penny!

We've been going to the Kahala since 1976, in sept we found the hotel under new mangment. Service has suffered, mangers MIA, Staff friendly but empty and afraid to make any decisions. rooms not clean (ours was not cleaned for three days) attempts to see managment was fruitless. The web site is incorrect, there is no free van to waikiki, taxis $35.00 , one way, parking is $22 and its valet required. Self parking always full. cabana eating is gone, Can't even buy a cold coke, unless you get it from your fridge $3.50. The rooms are under renovation (constuction) and if you complain your regulated
to the old rooms with no view. such a shame, the beach is still as nice as
