The Iroquois New York has the feel of an elegant European hotel. Located within walking distance of Fifth Avenue, Broadway, this hotel has very comfortable rooms with some nice extra touches which help to make it a relaxing place to stay. There's a fitness center and Finnish sauna, and two pleasant lounges where you can have cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. There's also a library, which is a cozy wood-paneled study with plenty of books to suit every reader! The hotel serves a nice breakfast and the Triomphe Restaurant has a great menu for lunch and dinner, and although I didn't have time to try it, it came well recommended from the other guests. The staff are inviting and helpful and give this hotel a homely feeling.

The Iriquois was a wonderful hotel for my first pleasure trip to New York with my elderly mother. The location was within walking distance of most everywhere we wanted to go, but off the beaten path so that it wasn't crazy and noisy all of the time. ...
