I stayed there last summer for a week and loved the facilities but they had a corporate outing booked. They were an obnoxious group who apparently unconcerned with the rights of others. They were driving the plastic golfballs into the pool where parents and their children were trying to enjoy themselves. They took up the entire beach area. I don't blame it all on them, the staff has to assume a lot of the blame as well.

I stayed at this hotel with my husband for a wedding in February. The hotel is very well kept and clean. The decor is cozy New England but not tacky and that’s sometimes a tough line to walk. Our room was quite large with a working fireplace and a sitting area. The bed was excellent as was the bedding. There were really soft high thread count sheets and lots of fluffy down pillows. Staff was helpful and courteous. The view of Lake Winnipesauke from our room was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place to even my most discriminating friends and relatives.
