The Inn at Spanish Head

I stayed at the Inn for my sister's wedding, which was also held at the Inn. While the rooms were clean, there were numerous "hotel policies" that caused a continuous headache for both the bride and the families involved. Although the catering for the reception was delicious, the staff refused to store the cake at the Inn, forcing the bride to make other arrangements for storage and pickup, the morning of the wedding. While getting ready for the wedding, the bride was informed that she must check out before noon, even though the wedding was held at 11:00. Despite numerous requests from the guests, family and wedding party, the staff refused to budge on the issue. When a request from the bride's father was made to take the many leftovers from the reception home, the staff refused again, citing "hotel policies". The bride was not allowed to bring some favorite reception candies and nuts to the Inn, by policy of the Inn. Many other issues occurred which I will not review for lack of space. It is my goal in this review to encourage the Inn to review their policies and strive to provide 100% customer satisfaction, making their guests' stay as hassle-free as possible.

It was beautiful. It had great views and a friendly staff. The only thing we did not like was the food at the restaurant. The filet mignon was really tough.

Excellent Resort!. We have stayed here MANY times. In fact, this is the ONLY place we stay on the Oregon Coast. They have wonderful condos here, fully furnished, tv's, dvd's , huge balcony for party's too. Close to Newport and Lincoln City for entertainment (Casino, Sea Aquarium, excellent clam chowder restaurants), but also built in the side of a cliff right on the beach. Take the elevator down from any level and you are right there! Long romantic walks on the beach, driftwood bonfires at night, children flying kites, beach combing, etc...Great pool and jacuzzi! Restaurant and bar on the top floor as well. Great condos! Highly recommend! A+++++

It was very relaxing. I would recommend for anyone who needs to get away.

This hotel is placed right on the edge of the beach and has the best view and access to the beach of all hotels in Lincoln City. Our last stay was the summer of 2005. My wife and I stay there every summer.

The staff is wonderful and always willing to help you with any needs you may have. The Hotel has a restaurant on the top floor called "Fathoms." The restaurant serves great food, has a wonderful view of the ocean, and is convenient way to eat.

Overall this hotel is a great place to stay. The only downside is the quality of some of the rooms. There is no consistent decor throughout the hotel. In our experience some rooms are very nice while others are not as well maintained.
