Location. The Inn at Keystone is a ski resort hotel centrally located between the River Run Village and Lakeside Village neighborhoods at the base of Dercum Mountain in Keystone, Colo. Keystone is a picturesque ski village filled with boutique shops, restaurants and nightlife. The area offers both summer and winter activities, from skiing and snowmobiling to golf and hiking. Hotel Features. Guests of the Inn at Keystone receive a complimentary Adventure Passport that provides free access to activities and to a rooftop spa tub with mountain views. The hotel also boasts the Summit Seafood Company, serving seafood and steaks and featuring a full bar and extensive wine list. The Inn at Keystone is the only dog-friendly property at the base of the mountain. This Colorado Rocky Mountain resort offers complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access throughout the hotel. Guestrooms. The comfortable guestrooms feature one king bed and one queen pull-out sofa, modern furnishings and beds dressed in premium sheets. Most unhelpful staff I've ever encountered. Checked in and in the evening tried to take a shower. No hot water. Called down to the front desk and was told I was the only one this complaint there was nothing they could. I told them that was unacceptable, we wanted access to a room with hot water and they told me I could come down and shower where the staff does. I told them for $150+ a night I did not think that was an acceptable solution. After several calls, nothing was resolved. They sounded more like stoned teens than adults being paid to assist guests. They refused to check other rooms to see if the problem was more widespread, they refuse access to an additional room with a shower so we could check, they refused refund. It went unresolved for the evening. The next morning I was in the elevator with a repair man who said the hot water heater had gone out and the entire hotel was out of hot water. They were not notified until morning when additional customers called to complain, which means the entire hotel was inconvenienced, rather than resolving it the night before. We requested a discount since you stay at a hotel to shower & sleep and we were not able to shower, and the repeatable phones from the staff just to annoy us hindered our sleep. Nothing, told they need to speak to their manager (a repeatable excuse with every request for access to room with a hot water). I later emailed the Inn at Keystone with a step-by-step of their incompetence and inconvenience they caused us. I received absolutely no reply. DO NOT STAY HERE. I have never been more frustrated with customer service than here.
