The Inn at Fitzgerald Inn - Page 1

Took my sister, who's never been to Vegas, and my Mom. I've stayed at Fitz before and overlooked minor things. This time was TERRIBLE. My mom found old blood on her pillow, not once, but also on the replacement that was left in the room. The toilet ran the WHOLE time we were there, in spite of 4 calls to the office and 2 repairman telling me it was "fine now". In order to flush, sometimes my sister had to take the lid off and repair. Once again, we were told it would be fixed "this time".... And then, on our last night there, the elevator FELL with my sister and I and an unknown man. It was terrifying and if not for the man kicking the door, prying the doors with something from his pocket and bodily leaning in to it, pushing doors sideways, we'd probably still be on, if service was anything like toilet repair promises. Everything looked bad, very worn and dirty looking. I'd stay at the Golden Nugget for a few bucks more and know I'd be getting my money's worth. I will never return to Fitzgeralds.

The beds were hard, the towels were stained, there were no extra pillows available and the ones on the bed were super thin. The room was in poor repair overall. It was reasonably clean and fairly quiet since my family appeared to be the only guests at the time. I won't stay there again, though.

The room was somewhat clean, and it had a new carpet. The fixtures were very old and cracked, no coffee pot, hair dryer, or tissues, but it did have old iced up frig, and a new microwave. The wireless internet was next to useless. The signal was weak when you got them. The place is not maintained well. The locks stuck, and the interior locks are falling off.
