The Imperial Queen's Park is situated in Sukhumvit, a prime business and shopping area. Many of the international companies are located in the general vicinity where there are many department stores, notably the Emporium, which is the nearest and most modern, and Tesco hyperstore. This is Bangkok's only hotel on and with direct access to a park, and it enjoys the best location with superior facilities. Business travelers worldwide acclaim as the most complete and self- contained conference/convention center of Bangkok with 1,300 luxurious guest rooms and more than 15 meeting rooms, the largest holding up to 2,000 persons. This hotel offers luxurious, well appointed guest rooms with all the modern amenities. The onsite facilities are superior as well, with two swimming pools, a squash court, an international restaurant and a fine spa. The Imperial Queen's Park is close to three access points off the expressway, which make it convenient to/from any point in Bangkok by car. 35 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
A great huge hotel in the middle of Bangkok with a view of the park. We stayed in this hotel for two nights in June 2008. Booked by our favourite booking site, we found quite a good deal from this hotel. We understood from our search that this hotel has been there for quite some time.
The first impression after entered the hotel, wow, what a lobby. It is very big. But the street where we had to come in from the main road did not make us feel like we were going to the right place.
The deluxe room we stayed was quite spacious although the deco seems to be a bit tired. The facilities in room were great and everything works!
Despite the size of the hotel, we found the staff to be quite friendly, esp. the doorman and the staff who work at the main restaurant, where we had our breakfast everyday. We like the selection of food and the staff there are always smiling and greet you.
Our maids have done an excellent job.
This has got to be a five-star standard hotel and we have had an enjoyable stay there.
Thanks to all the staff and we will surely be back.
