This is a good, modern hotel, located fairly near to many of Orlando's attractions. The hotel offers transportation to quite a few theme parks and there is also a desk where you can buy tickets before you go. The rooms are all well equipped, spacious and clean and some come with a fridge and microwave, which comes in very handy, especially during the hot weather! There is a wide choice of restaurants and shops within walking distance of the hotel but the hotel's bar/restaurant and deli do good food too, although a little on the pricey side. The pool area is clean and pleasant and the staff are really helpful with any queries or problems too.

Resort Destinations: My wife and I were vacationing in beautiful and balmy Hollywood, Fla., when we received an invitation from Izzy Fintz, the VP of hospitality of the Clarion Resort Waterpark & Convention Center in Kissimmee, Fla., to drop by for a pre-season sneak peek at the newly renovated and refurbished resort. Mr. Fintz is the man at the helm of this all-encompassing multi-million-dollar makeover. After seeing it for ourselves, we now understood why Izzy was as effervescent as a recently uncorked bottle of sparkling white wine direct from Champagne when he described this paramount undertaking.

44 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The hotel and its staff were pleasantly professional, helpful and knowledgeable. The stay was very relaxed and enjoyable. The location was ideal to Universal Studios.
Their gift shop was a combination coffee shop, drug store, mini market and gift store. The personnel was very friendly and knowledgeable of Orlando and its attractions. The pool was bright and clean with towels readily available for guests. The shuttle service was prompt and the drivers were also very tourist oriented.
I am very likely
to return to the Best Western Orlando Gateway Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
