The 86-room Hotel Montgomery, a boutique hotel, is located in downtown San Jose, Calif. The San Jose Convention Center, the Museum of Technology, the San Jose Museum of Art and the HP Pavilion are located within one-half mile of the property. Over $15 million has been invested towards the Montgomery's renovation, including the extraordinary feat of relocating the hotel 186 feet south of its previous location. The smoke-free property's Renaissance Revival architecture integrates design elements from Spanish and Beaux Arts traditions. Complimentary high-speed and wireless Internet access is available in public areas. The business center and fitness center are open twenty-four hours a day. The Paragon Restaurant & Bar offers a contemporary environment to savor American cuisine with French brasserie-style influences, with outdoor dining available and live jazz on Friday and Saturday evenings. The guestrooms' color palette of camel, burnt red and sandy peach were inspired by the California climate. The natural colors are complimented by the original artwork of artist Rex Ray, which also pairs with the custom-designed wood furnishings in each room. Beddings include Egyptian cotton linens and down duvets. Rooms include complimentary high-speed wired and wireless Internet access, and the in-room safe is laptop compatible. Additional amenities include cotton bathrobes, iPod docking stations, refrigerators and coffeemakers.

Horrible
we should have been told at the time of booking of events happening within the hotel which would prevent us from utilizing all the hotels amenities. At a minimum, we should not have been charged full room price. Room was VERY small and musty as well....
I booked online but hadn't seen a picture of the Hotel. When I arrived the outside looked like it was real old so I assumed the inside would be run down and dirty. Much to my surprise it was not only SPOTLESS inside, but the interior was very...
