It was a wonderful experience. The hotel was professionally run and it left nothing to be desired. I highly recommend it, especially for families with children.
The personnel responded to my every need in a quick and efficient manner.
I am very likely
to return to the The Hotel Hershey and Spa.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This spa was fantastic. From start to finish everyone was incredibly friendly. The services both my husband and I had were amazing (scrubs and massages) and we loved the lunch in the Oasis. We would definitely recommend this spa to anyone!

There is nothing I dislike about this hotel. I have stayed there a few times and I have never been disappointed. The service is excellent, the guest rooms and the public rooms are clean and well appointed. It is efficiently run.
I was registered over the Thanksgiving weekend. There was a tree lighting ceremony with refreshments and holiday decorations in the main room. I liked the holiday decoration, the rides at Hershey Park and the carolers.

...but offers nothing.
From the bellhop to the inept management, this place is no better than a seedy roadside motel. They speak of their luxurious health spa and treatments? I felt better when I dug my yard and slapped a pound of dirt on my face.
The atmosphere is as friendly as a death row convict ordering his last meal. After this disaster, I will never eat another piece of chocolate again. Maybe next time I will travel a little father South, I am sure that Mayberry and Aunt Bea can show me a little bit more hospitality and a bigger bang for my buck.

This is not a true luxury hotel (though my wife gave the spa a B+), but its miles ahead of the area competition in terms of service, ambience, and clientele.
The rooms are clean & well-furnished, if smallish. The restaurants are decent. The bar is an excellent refuge for adults (a necessity after a day at the park). The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, and the shuttle to the park is the way to go. The indoor pool was OK with poolside light dining.
Do not confuse with the Hershey Lodge, which is just a very large motel; it's not a flophouse, but it's definitely a major step down.
Bonus tips for parents: Kids love the carp pools behind the hotel. Hershey Gardens is a short walk from the hotel, and kids 3-7 or so will have almost as much fun there as they did in the park, in much less time.
