To start, the staff is unintelligent and rude. The girl at the front desk ran my AAA card as my credit card, and then argued with me about my debit card being "declined".
On top of that, when I checked my bank statement a few weeks later, they had double charged me. When I called to get a refund, the girl on the phone was very short with me, and placed me on hold for a long time, before coming back on the phone and asking who I was holding for. So I had explain the entire situation again, to which she responded "Oh yea, you'll see it back in your account in 5 to 7 business days". Three weeks later I called back, spoke to the same individual who claimed to have no idea what I’m speaking about, but again says she'll refund the charge, and again gave me the schpeil about "Five to seven business days".
Another two and a half weeks later, I called back at the request of the manager. The manager was extremely rude, and sounded upset that I interrupted her day. When I asked for a confirmation of some kind, she said "She didn't need that, because she had proof that she had done it.", and hung up on me. They did finally credit my card back for the extra charge, but it was not worth the headache it took. The hotel is dingy and misleading. It's a Motel 6 with blue paint.
