I was quite suprised by Hotel Alsace and Spa-it is truly exquisite. You feel as though you are in a land far,far away! yet you are only 20 minutes from San Antonio a loud and busy city- travel on hwy 90 west-suddenly surreal bliss in Castroville Texas! The staff was kind, helpful, endless smiles and sincere hospitality. The rooms are beautiful, modern and most important-CLEAN! I told my friends and family about this hidden treasure-a must for those who prefer finer accommodations in life-to say the least Hotel Alsace is "simply marvelous darling". We were coming from LA to Casterville to attend a friends wedding and not knowing where Casterville was...we were pleasantly surprised when we drove up to the Hotel Alsace...it is so charming! The setting and the landscape are beautiful!

The suite was comfortable, spacious and nicely furnished. The pool area has

gorgous views and the spa treatments are heavenly. The service was perfect!

We highly recommend the Hotel Alsace...I would say it is a unexpected oasis!
