34 year old male with a economy budget, traveling for leisure
Roosevelt Hotel is mainly famous for being home for 2 years to Marilyn Monroe before she started her modeling career. The 12-story Spanish style hotel opened in 1927, has 302 rooms and suites and cost $2.5 million to make. Miss Monroe stayed in room 1200, which overlooked the pool side. The huge mirror that hanged in her room is now in the lobby, many guests believing it is haunted by her spirit. Some guests even say they have seen her dancing in the hotel’s ballroom.

We reserved a room on line, they looked very spacious and very nice. We even upgraded, our room was so small, and not at all like the pics on line. It was clean and alright, but we were very dissapointed after paying extra. They say no age...
Amazing service and staff that cares. Was on business but got to have a little leisure mixed in and thought the hotel was great since you can really escape. Wonderful Historic feel but with a chic today vibe.
I had a great time with no issues at all and it is rare you get that these days while travelling.

The service in the front bar was excellent. The AC would not turn off. I buzzed the front desk 3 times and no one came up to fix it! It was very annoying! The seating areas are amazing and the front bar gave great service. The room was nice but the...
Don't waste your time or money!!!! Stayed for 8 nights was awful. They had the BET wards and on the day of the awards, I was charged doubled, and could not use any of the facilities the whole day. The front desk were rude. They put us in a room with mold, my son had an asthma attack.... after telling me they didn't have any other rooms, they finally put us in a better one. The rooms are run down and old. Can not go bare foot in the room because your feet get dirty. I travel a lot and have never experienced anything like this.... The hotel could care less about the average person!!!!!
