The owner, Kent Tylor is a crook. I canceled a reservation and he told me he would refund my deposit - then he changed his mind the next day! He told me, via email, he re-rented my room and I would not be responsible for room rent. Then 2 days later he tells me the room was not re-rented. His desk clerk tell me I was assigned room 13 and then he tells me he doesn't assign room numbers. A total lier. Don't believe anything this place tells you because it will change. There are better places to stay in Whitefish - no need to deal with a guy like this - no trust.
We love staying at the Hidden Moose Lodge, and we are NOT relatives of the owner. We've stayed 3 times and each successive stay is even better than the last. The rooms are comfy, the breakfast superb and accommodating and the people are easy to talk ...

Not clean - not worth the $$... on the main road/noisy... I think the good reviews must come from relatives of the owners. The other bad reviews hit the nail on the head....

We have now stayed there 3 times and plan on going back anytime we travel to Whitefish. On the last trip, we took our 2 boys. We thought would have more fun at a place with a pool so, we checked into the Pine Lodge. Not a bad place but, it's on...
