Okay
Although the place looks marvelous and exactly as it is in pics, the staff need more training as far as friendliness. As soon as we told them we don't want to attend their sales meetings, their smile disappeared and they almost shove the paper...

The Good: Great rooms, all ammenities of home coupled with pools, spa and once per week maid service.
Just info: about 5 miles from the strip. Not too hard to drive. Shuttle is available, but only at specific times. Better to drive and use the Valet parking ($1 tip to park). Take the I15 rather than LV Blvd.
The Bad: Parking after about 10:00 will make you walk about 1/10 mile. Construction is ongoing which wke us up at 6:00 am. Had to switch rooms to be able to sleep. No Blackout curtains in the bedroom.
It is a Time share: They will offer a $20 per ticked deal for a limited # of shows if you attend a presentation. Ok shows, but not the best. Costs for the time share is $39900 for New years eve week, $22K for other weeks + 4 free week equivalent points, at the end if you say no to all other deals, they will offer 1 week for $4990. Check the secondary market, Point or week type deals are available ranging from 1/2 to 1/10 the original asking price.

My fiance and I were pressured into buying at this resort and have so far had a very mediocre experience. I have actually devoted an entire website to my timeshare experience in hopes of educating owners/potential buyers. So please check out the site or just use keyword "RCI VIP" in a search engine - I also have a more personal review of the Grandview on there. Best wishes and happy travels!

Okay
The "hotel" is actually a time-share! When the lobby offers you a tour or complimentary bottle of wine, they are actually tricking you into going upstairs to listen to a 2-hour presentation. Then it's a guilt trip and lowsy service for the rest of...

Okay
Grandview is located at the south end of Las Vegas Blvd, about a 10-minute drive farther south from Mandalay. Bing said as long as you don't feel like you need to be right in the middle of all the happening in/on the strip, it is a good location...
