The Grand International Motel - Page 1

Booked for 2 nights. Given a rate of $93/night. When checking in noticed the card said $65/night. Was given a room in the oldest section of the hotel. The pipes clanked intermittently, the sink & shower didn't drain properly (showered standing in ankle deep water), toilet didn't flush if people in adjacent rooms running water, wallpaper peeling, dirty carpet, bathtub ring, paper thin walls (very noisy)! When checking out the girl charged the 2 night to my Visa ($129.80). I told her online travel website had already charged my Visa $211.64 for 2 nights. She checked and said I was right and credited me back the $129.80. Asked why I had been given a low end room when I had been charged the higher rate. She referred me to her supervisor. She gave me a shallow apology and told me this was how it worked when you booked online with one of the travel companies. I was given no refund, just left with the feeling of being utterly ripped off and taken advantage of by the Grand International and the online travel website!! I would definitely NOT recommend using either of these companies services. Our worst hotel experience!!!!

I always enjoy my stay at the Grand International motel in Minot! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is open twenty four hours a day and it serves delicious, affordable meals. The memory foam mattresses are very comfortable for sleeping or relaxing! If you are looking for a good night's sleep at a great motel, check into the Grand International motel!

This hotel made me feel important: They respected my position with my employer and they were willing to go that extra mile to make sure my needs were met.
