27 year old woman with a moderate budget

I booked with the hotel (not a third party travel site) in advance for a double room with two queen beds. When I checked in, promptly at 3 pm (the earliest possible check in time) they didn't have any double rooms available. They put me in a temporary room so I had some where to put my luggage, but told me not to unpack. They took my cell phone number so they could call me as soon as they had my double room available. When I came back from shopping and sight seeing, they had forgotten to deal with my room and still had nothing available. While they did lower my rate, the room I was in only had one bed and there were two of us staying in the room and the bed was not big enough for two (it seemed like a single bed) so one had to sleep on a pull out couch. The phone in the bed room didn't work (luckily the one in the tv area did). The alarm clock didn't work, and you had to wait about 5 minutes for the desk to pick up every time you called for a wake up call (or anything else). It's a pretty hotel, but I'd never stay there again, and way too expensive for what you get.

33 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

After I made the reservation I noticed this hotel had several bad reviews. I felt very unsure but I kept the reservation. I was glad I did. This was a very historic looking hotel that was in the heart of Atlanta and convient to almost everything. The staff was very polite and things such as check in lines, and room service were very fast. My wife and I were very satisfied. The rooms were clean, and complaints I read such as water not being hot have been addressed since then. Room service was a little overpriced, but then again, show me a nice hotel where room service is not overpriced. Thank you Georgia Terrace Staff for a Great Weekend.

The rooms were very spacious in our 2 bedroom suite. Having a toddler with us, the extra space of the living room was wonderful. The beds were wonderful! The staff was one of the finest, hats off to the managment of this fine establishment. We were treated like royalty, and everyone was very attentative to our little one. Location was convenient to sites we visited such as the Aquarium, Coca Cola World, and Centinnel Park. Only downside was the short time we were able to stay. Would love to return for another long weekend soon.

It is a restored, historic building. However the condition of the guest rooms was sub standard. There were small tears in the wallpaper, dents in the furniture and an old carpet. The public areas of the hotel are very nice, but the guestrooms need a major

I am somewhat likely to return to the The Georgian Terrace Hotel.
I might recommend it to friends.
