Came down here for a relaxing get away and got nothing but aggravation and disrespect. My parents gifted us with a weeks stay to celebrate our engagement, they made the hotel aware of our special occasion and no one acknowledged that. In fact the second I checked in from a 5 hour flight the concierge was extremely rude and pushy shoving a piece of paper in my face demanding I pay the remaining balance on the room. I was so upset at how rude and mean he was that I called my father who arranged for this and I watched this concierge curse and scream and belittle my father for a mere 200 balance. Went upstairs and tried to avoid the concierge so I would not have to be treated so poorly. The next day I got a note under my door DEMANDING that I vacate the room for an entire day so THEY COULD DO CONSTRUCTION TO MY ROOF!!!! There are 365 days in a year and these jerks book me in a room they need to do construction on and DEMAND that I vacated the entire day AND STILL CHARGED ME FOR THE ROOM WITH NO ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION~! I was like what the heck>>>So asked the assistant manager if this work could be rescheduled when I am not on my vacation and he became irate, aggressive, cursing, screaming getting up in my face and demanded that I exit the concierge or else HE WOULD CALL THE POLICE ON ME!! Can you believe that?? I was astounded at the degree of rudeness these unprofessional lowlifes displayed. I was in tears for half of my vacation bc of the badgering and disrespect I received. I called the general manager 3 times to report this persons behavior and seek him to intervene in the situation and of course each time was transferred to voice mail and COMPLETELY IGNORED FOR THE DURATION OF MY TRIP. These people are so disgustingly rude and disrespectful to their guests it's simply APPALLING> When I left I wrote a letter addressing my complaints. This incident happened 6 months ago and to this day I have received no apology, recognition or even acknowledgment of the situation. THIS HOTEL HAS NO CLASS OR RESPECT.
