The rooms were adequate. That's about as far as it goes. We had a lovely view of a mud hole. It was supposed to be a lake, and it probably will be in a year or two. Although we specifically asked if there was construction, we were assured via telephone, and again at check-in, that first there was none, and at check-in that it was on the other side of the complex. The construction was across the mud hole and the noise and dust started at 7:00 am every morning and continued till dark.

If all of this wasn't bad enough, all of their "amenities" have a price tag, usually about twice what they are worth.

You would think with the prices charged, they would not feel the need to nickel and dime the guests to death.

Two words "never again".

The Fountains is a hotel, and I absolutely loved it. The place was very clean and the people were friendly. The pools were great, I went swimming everyday. The only problem I had was when a kid used the bathroom next to the pool but someone did come to clean it up, although she didn't get it all. They even had cane fishing which I enjoyed. Getting to the parks was a piece of cake. The place was excellent and I hope that I get to stay there again.

This will be great when the construction is finished. We were in bldg 6 - our view was of the not-finished new lake, but still not bad. I found it small for a 2-bedroom, but quite acceptable. Check-in was easy, and as we were owners, not much pressure except for an owners update, which always seems to turn in to a sales pitch. But it wasn't a hard pitch, and we got Disney dollars for doing it. The pool was supposed to be heated, but too many people had access to the controls. There are 2 hot tubs, one inside and one outside, and a pool bar. The response from the staff couldn't have been better. Our first night I was just dozing off about 12:30 am when the people above started the jacuzzi in the room - not cool! The location is very good, and it's easy to find. I'd go back!

In September of 2006 we had our honeymoon at The Fountains. It was wonderful and they sent us a card and balloons congratulating us. Everyone was friendly and the location is perfect! We definitely got our money's worth!

I am very likely to return to the The Fountains.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I liked the location since it was so close to our destination which was Universal Studios and the Islands of Adventure in Orlando. I did not like the breakfast offering in the mornings at the clubhouse

I am somewhat likely to return to the The Fountains.
I might recommend it to friends.
