This was the finest hotel experience I've had yet. My wife and I have stayed in some very nice Vancouver are hotels including the Wall Centre, Pinnacles, Met, and Westin Whistler, but this hotel by far was the most outstanding.
The service was friendly and genuine. The rates while high are of good value considering the product, and the convenience for travelers is incomparable.
We had booked a signature room and upon check-in were upgraded to the gold signature club. While the upgrade was complimentary, I would not hesitate to spend the extra money and ensure the same accommodation next time. While checking in the clerk was genuinely kind. We informed him we were heading off on our honeymoon the following morning which he must have relayed to the gold floor concierge because following a few cognacs in the private lounge, we were informed that the drinks were "on the hotel" and congratulations. The concierge was almost loathe to accept a tip. Complimentary room service arrives promptly at 4:30 am. And the comfort...perfect.
