I stayed at the Fairmont Turnbery resort on March 26-29th. I reported three incidences to your phone operator and to the front desk clerks. To this day I have not received so much as a response.
1. I found a human tooth in my bed after the maid conducted the evening turndown. It was on the sheet right below the pillow in plain sight. I called the hotel operator and notified her of the unusual find. The next day I waited until late in the afternoon but never received a call from anyone of the hotel staff. I brought the tooth to the front desk and gave to to the man working. He was shocked as were the other guests standing at the front desk. He said that he would report the finding and that somone would be contacting me. No response. Upon check-out I was asked how the stay was. I informed the clerk that it was okay. She inquired as to why it was just okay. I told her about the human tooth and she said she would report it and that someone would be contacting me. Still nothing.
2. In addition to the tooth, my airconditioning unit required numerous visits by your service technicians. They were courteous and prompt but could never get the unit operating as it should. It was stuck on 62 degrees one day and then stuck on 76 degrees the next day.
Considering the cost of the hotel room and the reputation of your hotel chain I would have expected at the very least a response from someone. I am not sure why your hotel managers believe this to be something they cannot be bothered with but finding a human tooth ranks at the top of my list during my numerous stays in various hotels.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the The Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club.
I might recommend it to friends.
GREAT VACATION! Cant wait to return!

I have to say, I tend to read many reviews from multiple websites before traveling to a place I've never been before. I'm glad I didn't let the FEW who had a questionable experience sway me from going to the Turnberry. It was FABULOUS! ...
It is absolutely beautiful, but VERY expensive. We did not eat at the hotel once. My fiance did play golf on both courses. Both very spendy. Ask about extra charges that they add for the private beach even though it rained two of the days we were...
On arrival at the hotel at 730PM from Europe we wanted to have a bath and room service. It took the bags over an hour to make it to our room and room service told us it would take over an hour for a simple order. Our reservation was for a king size...

The location was great and very friendly.Charges for parking and a resort fee, close to $30.00 which we didn't know until I checked out. Beautiful hotel but kind of pricey. Be ready to pay $30.00 for parking per day and like $27.00 resort fee...

The suites are excellently established and furbished employees make me feel important, not to mention very homey. The city is beautiful and I love all its people. Only one problem... I never stayed there =/ APRIL FOOLS!!
