The Fairmont San Jose Hotel

I live around the area and we stayed here for a company event. I have all good things to say about this hotel. Our room was a standard room, but unbelievably spacious. It had a light colored carpet and it was spotless! And being the "germophobe" that I am, I was actually able to walk around our room barefooted which is a huge breakthrough for me. That's how clean the room was. The bed/pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was just as spacious as the room. It had a semi walk-in closet and a separate seating vanity area. The staff were friendly and the hotel is walking distance to lots of restaurants and museums. Love this hotel...no wonder it was good enough for ex-president Bill Clinton years back.

The hotel is located in downtown San Jose. It is close to many great restuarants. The hotel staff were friendly, extremely helpful, and make our stay very memorable.

The rooms and hotel is very comfortable, clean and quiet. However, the staff thinks that we're there to help them! Every time I asked for any thing, it took an hour, repeated calls, and they acted like they couldn't be bothered. Only would stay there again if I was attending a conference. Good room service.

The location is ideal for us. Downtown San Jose is lovely and everything was right there, with transportation, food, entertainment making the Fairmont Lounge our central meeting place.

The central location in San Jose is very convenient to the convention center. The rooms are of a nice size and comfortable. I stayed in the tower annex across the pavilion and it was very elegant. Many good restaurants were close.

This hotel made me feel important: I felt like I was definitely in the classiest hotel offered to the convention goers. The Fairmont hotel is the place to be in San Jose and the nearby area around the park blocks is just very nice.
