54 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
We booked this hotel just prior to the completion of their refurbishment project and got a good deal. The rooms are very comfortable, the public areas are gorgeous. We visited them for coffee after dinner during Christmas holidays of 2006 and loved the ambience of the piano bar. My grandchildren enjoyed the experience of a top hotel's service. Nothing to disappoint here.
I am
somewhat likely
to return to the The Fairmont, San Francisco.
I
would definitely recommend it to
friends.

The hotel was centrally located. It was very comfortable and luxurious even. It was close to restaurants and shopping. If you want to experience Nob Hill, it is a good choice.

The hotel is old fashioned and lovely. The only disappointment I remember is that I thought the fee for using the gym was exorbitant.
I am
somewhat likely
to return to the The Fairmont, San Francisco.
I
might recommend it to

It was a wonderful experience! I booked a room at discount rates and it was not available. The clerk asked for half an hour about a room and I was significantly upgraded. I asked for a cab to the federal court and the doorman put me into a hotel car to take me there!
This hotel made me feel sophisticated: They made me feel as though I were one of the high dollar attorneys, not a simple government attorney. I felt that they would do that for any visitor but the feeling imparted was that I was very special!
I am
very likely
to return to the The Fairmont, San Francisco.
I
would definitely recommend it to
friends.
