The Fairmont Copley Plaza has been quite a historic symbol in Boston since its gala opening in 1912 and this is refelcted in the beautiful decor inside. Located close to Beacon Hill, the Freedom Trail, Copley Place, the boutiques of Newbury Street and the Hynes Convention Center, this is a convenient place to stay. The rooms and suites have been renovated and restored and are all comfortable and well equipped. They serve a very good continental breakfast daily, in additions to the occasional chocolate fondue in the lobby! The staff are polite and efficient and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

This was the first time I stayed at a Fairmont hotel. It was truly a luxurious and beautiful experience! The hotel was in the center of Boston and convenient to restaurants and shopping.
