The Fairmont Chicago is a sophisticated high-rise that combines classic and contemporary styles, with sweeping views of downtown Chicago and Lake Michigan. It is located in downtown Chicago within walking distance to the Millennium Park and Magnificent Mile shops and operates one of Chicago's most acclaimed restaurants, aria.
Fairmont
The Fairmont Chicago is above Millennium Park and the lakefront and is located conveniently in the center of downtown Chicago and is near to the major cultural attractions, Navy Pier, the city's business and financial district and the Magnificent Mile. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated and the best suites are those with views of the lakefront. The new Aria Restaurant & Bar at the hotel is excellent but expensive and there are guest privileges, for a fee, at the adjacent Lakeshore Athletic Club, which has a great health, athletic and spa facility. The staff here are courteous and helpful. Parking is available but again, is expensive.

54 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
The place seemed too good for the price and I kept thinking that when I checked out there would be a bunch of extra charges. However the price at check out was the same as my original reservation.
35 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
This place made us feel as if we were coming home. They made every effort to remember our names and even what we were doing! The rooms are spacious and the beds luxurious. They don't have a coffee maker in the room, they offer an espresso maker.
