We stayed here for one night and found the accommodations decent with the exception of the bathroom which had a bad smell. The worst part of the stay was the parking! You must park in the next hotel's parking lot, in any spot that was not reserved, thank goodness I called and asked otherwise I would have been towed. I found it very inconvenient and dangerous to park in this narrow lot. The sign said only leave your battery in the car and they mean it! Many people had their cars broken into. Also when we wanted to leave the hotel, our key card would not allow access to the other hotel's parking area so we had to ask the staff to let us in each time! I inquired with the front desk as to why the parking lot owned by the Equus was open and empty all night and why we were not allowed to park there, they stated that it was only for staff and management. Well, there were only two vehicles in the lot and it would have been more convenient for guests to park there. I will not stay at the Equus again. I live in Kauai and frequent Honolulu quite often and have never had a problem like this!
