The Embassy Hotel

I'm sure this hotel has some amazing history, and if I had looked it up, I might have walked into it with a different set of eyes, The room was cute, but small. I would have showered there if I had to, but I was glad I didn't have to. It was over 90 degrees in SF when I stayed here in May and they have no air conditioning, no fans, no pool, and no breeze coming into our 5th floor window. My brother had picked this hotel because he thought they would have an amazing breakfast (see the headline). There was room service and a bar on site, and plenty of parking in a gated lot. I do not think there was an amazing breakfast, but I left shortly after waking because at 8:30 in the morning our room was 82 degrees! The Phoenix is right around the corner and has a pool and ceiling fans, I will not stay at The Embassy again....well, maybe if I got a really good deal and it was winter.
