The Eliot Suite Hotel

The Eliot is a very elegant, almost Deco-style hotel in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Several Boston landmarks, shopping and dining are within walking distance, and T stops are just a few blocks away. Wifi access is not free, but $9.95 will cover a 24-hour period. Friendly desk staff and simple but beautiful accommodations.

The service is terrible but at least its expensive. From an interior that reminds you of your grandma's house to room service that includes an $18 Turkey sandwich that made airline food look fresh, the Eliot had absolutely no redeeming qualities. For the money you are MUCH better off at the other hotels in this part of Boston.

Just returned from our annual girlfriends Christmas holiday week-end get-away. This year our choice was Boston. The hightlight of our trip was our four night stay at the Eliot Hotel in the Back Bay area. We chose a corner suite - Room 404 and we were not disappointed. Our room was spotless and had been completely renovated from the living area to the bedroom with the small, but beautiful marble bath. We felt totally pampered with the turn down bed service each night to the chocolate being left on our pillows. Also the plush terry cloth robes were an added touch. We'd definitely choose the Eliot on a return trip.

The Eliot Hotel was the crown jewel in our recent stay in Boston, it was built around 1925, it has that "back-in-time" feel, while maintaining the utmost on professionalism, courtesy, and genuine smiles from its wonderful staff. The first nice surprise was the chocolate chocolate-chip cookies in our room when we arrived, and the entire place was impeccably neat & clean. I would highly recommend this for the value, location, and especially for the romantic feel of the hotel. It is simply superb!

The Eliot Hotel was a good value for the price! It's in the middle of everything on Commonwealth Ave in Boston. The suite I stayed in was a great size - there was a good sized living room, a bedroom, a large walk-in closet, a small bar/kitchen area, and a smallish sized bathroom. The building itself wasn't anything spectacular to look at, but you're there for the location. The hotel does have valet parking for your car, but each car you park will be charged at $30 per day. That's reasonable enough considering the location in Boston, but the cost wasn't something that was given to you up front. Even when checking in, the cost was never mentioned. Overall, I was very pleased with the Eliot Hotel and would stay there again.
